Great Scot, the movie star rocks Nylon front page magazine. Scot being in the limelight propels him to be in his best. He is not the typical number one guy that you see in movies where you admire, he actually gets the bad roles, and he seems to be having a fun of his life. Though he trains with a trainer to get the psyche of the bad guy, he is happily married, and he dearly loves his life.
I think, being an actor and at the same time being a husband is possible, even if you are getting famous, one bit at a time.
Great Scot, talks about his life as a baker, before he eventually gets a role in the movies, he started of doing extras one scene at a time, until eventually getting his break of getting a real role as a fiend in the movies.
Despite all odds, and living in London, he loves Mexican food, though his wife most times cook they enjoy their food together.
America takes pride of her local color – a color that radiates vibrantly in its outstanding style in fashion and culture. This is why Nylon Magazine celebrates: the America’s culture.
This magazine was founded by Marvin Scott Jarret, Jaclyn Jarret, Mark Blackwell, Michael Neumann, and supermodel Helena Christensen, who was once connected with Ray Gun. To cater to the particular gender needs and issues, there are two Nylon magazines published: Nylon and Nylon Guys. Today, the magazine has Stephanie Trong as its Executive Editor.
Nylon eyes the adolescents and late teens as its readers, and true enough, this magazine is bought for its showcase of style and fashion, topics teenagers really go crazy about. What gives this magazine an edge is that it caters to teen fashion, not the woman’s fashion that older, more sophisticated girls would look into.
Studies have shown that a magazine’s attractiveness is measured by its cover, and so Nylon gets the best of the best personalities for their covers. Liv Tyler is the magazine’s first cover girl in 1999. Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Sienna Miller, Megan Fox, Zac Efron, and Lindsay Lohan, other young people who have set their marks in the glamorous world of show business and have become teenage icons, have graced the cover of this magazine.
The face of the magazine also speaks of the vibrant color of the youth, and each and every page exudes the trendy style and pizzazz that shout aloud the joys of being young.
Another catchy feature of this magazine is its articles on breakthrough artists, letting the readers know who the next big things to look forward too are. Some magazines highlight one new artist too much that it eclipses others who deserve rightful attention too; this is not the case in Nylon.
Now, it is also true that today’s youth tend to see all media as an MTV, and most have paid little attention to reading. Nylon, however, has well adapted to this youthful fact, and has made its articles readable enough for their target market. After all, they do not aim to create academicians in their mag.
So, if you’re that person who never wants to be outdated in fashion culture, and everything that would speak of today’s generation, Nylon is definitely for you.
